I hope your winter training has gone well and hopefully, the sun and spring will be right around the corner. On Tuesday, I am going to order t-shirts for the club. If you plan to renew your membership for the Running Club of Granville this year please email me back with your shirt request so I can order a shirt for you. For renewing your membership you get a long sleeve RUNGRANVILLE t-shirt or a short sleeve shirt with Running Club of Licking County on the front and RUNGRANVILLE on the back. The next club meeting will be on Thursday, March 23rd at 7:00pm at the Granville Village offices. I will pass out t-shirts and membership cards at the meeting. Also, topics to discuss are Moonlight Runs, the Bryn Du Summer Cross Country series, guest speaker for the next club meeting, plus anything else you would like to discuss. Hopefully, the meeting will only last about a half an hour. I hope you can make it. Your club membership card will also allow you to get discounts at the same running shoe stores as last year - 20% off at the Second Sole in Delaware, 15% of the Second Sole store in Gahanna and 10% off at The Columbus Running Company in Dublin and the new store in Pickerington. Plus, the current issue of RUNOHIO has a coupon in it for 15% off the new Columbus Running Company store in Pickerington. The new store is co-owned by Jim Jurcevich who last month qualified for the 2008 Olympic Marathon trials. The store is located at 1250 Hill Road N, which is on Route 256, a few miles from the exit on Route 70. If you didn’t get a RUNOHIO this month I will have free copies at the meeting next week.
