The next RUNGRANVILLE Club meeting is this Tuesday, September 20th at 7:00 p.m. at the Granville Village office. Stephanie will present Yoga for Runners (stretching). The September meeting is a week earlier as there is a cross-country meet conflict on the fourth Tuesday. At the meeting we also hope to finalize a few cross-country fun runs at the Bryn Du Mansion grounds for next month. Listed below are a few dates for the rest of the year Upcoming activities September 20th: Yoga for Runners (stretching) October: no meeting, Full Moon/Harvest Moon Run - October 17th October/November: cross country fun runs at the Bryn Due Mansion Grounds November: No meeting - because of Thanksgiving December: Early in the month – perhaps a small holiday party/get together (Looking for a few individuals to organize and someone to host Holiday party) Looking for a race in Granville, check out the Jennifer Travis Memorial 5km on Saturday, October 1 at 9am. Other races in the area and in Ohio are listed on RUNOHIO’s Race Calendar - www.runohio.com Mark your calendar for these Denison University cross country meets at Bryn Du Mansion grounds September 30th - Big Red Invitational – 5:30 p.m. October 29th – North Coast Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships - 11 a.m. Also, if you want to see the top Ohio college runners mark your calendar for the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Cross Country Championships on Friday October 7th. Plus, if you would like to run there are a men and a women open race after the college meet. All-Ohio Intercollegiate Cross Country Championships Methodist Theological School Delaware, Ohio Women's Varsity Race - 2 p.m. Men's Varsity Race - 2:45 p.m. Women's Open Race - 3:30 p.m. Men's Open Race - 4:15 p.m. Unattached entries for the open races will be accepted only on the day of the race. The entry fee is $20. Runners can pay the entry fee and pick up their packets at the tent near the finish line. Hope to see you at the meeting on Tuesday. Matt McGowan
