Bryn Du Mansion grounds to be site of the Denison University cross-country meet this Friday... If you are looking for something to do this Friday, I hope you will check out Denison University’s first home cross-country meet in seven years. This Friday at the Denison Twilight meet there will be two men’s and two women’s races on either a 3km or a 5km course. The races will be held on the newly laid out cross-country course at the Bryn Du Mansion grounds. You should be able to see most of the action without moving from the start/finish area or you can jog around a little and see almost the entire race... Also, the Denison Invitational will be held on Friday, September 30th and will feature one men’s and one women’s race... However, the showcase race of the season will be The North Coast Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships that be will held on the Bryn Du Mansion grounds on Saturday, October 29th with the racing staring at 11:00 a.m. The women will run 6km and the men will run an 8km course... Hopefully, you can make one or more of these races and support the Big Red Cross Country teams... This course could be used for high school meets and other local events in the future...
